Hansgrohe Belgium

The Belgian subsidiary of Hansgrohe, German producer of sanitary products turned to Leaflet® in order to reap the benefits of database publishing :

• Get the job done faster : despite starting from scratch, only 2 months were necessary to get the files ready to flash.
• Produce cheaper documents : numerous hours were saved by concentrating on the database contents instead of wrestling in inappropriate DTP documents.
• Avoid typing errors : because sanitary installations involve several common pieces, some kit components are mentionned more than 30 times in the document.

Leaflet® was able to reproduce exactly the presentation of the previous tariff and to follow strictly the corporate identity chart.

Throughout Europe (9 countries in 2003), the sales representatives of Massive (lighting) use personalized catalogues made by Leaflet®.
Catalogue generation is so fast, that the main part of the time is spent selecting products and printing. If more suitable the selection can be made with Excel while the remaining data come from the central database. Several hundred catalogues are made this way each year.

The head office significantly simplified the process by providing a framework of common pictures and international database. Countries can locally enrich the database structure according to their specific needs while capitalizing on corporate provided contents.
Prices, product range and language are those aspects of the information that turn each catalogue into a specific one.

Nobilia , Germany

Furniture maker Nobilia produces catalogues that cover a wide range of products and accessories.
The level of details required involved extensive cross-referencing and re-encoding, until Nobilia turned to Leaflet® to optimise their existing database for generating the catalogue.

In addition to significantly reducing the time and costs required for preparing each catalogue, Leaflet® also enabled the sales team to provide more focused documents to their clients.

The Nobilia catalogue exists in more than ten languages.

Wenglor, Germany

A comprehensive range of optical detectors with all their technical characteristics is listed in the Wenglor catalog.

The makeup makes extensive use of dynamic tables where the number of products and their attributes is totally variable.

The project consisted in the setup of a complete installation with Leaflet® for publishing and CatMaker as content management system.
