Aswo sells Service & Spare parts for Consumer Electronics and White Goods through whole Europe.
To keep pace with faster evolving assortments, Aswo France decided to go over to database publishing and chose Leaflet® as a replacement for Pagemaker. They wanted a free database structure with a direct connection to the AS/400 central computer giving the marketing department full autonomy without need for extensive programming skills.

The catalogue is about 1.000 pages thick and contains thousands of pictures.
More than 30.000 articles are covered alternating a lot of different layouts. Lists can be as long as 50 pages and include cross-links while other pages are more descriptive and make heavy use of HTML text for complex formatting. Index, table of contents and keywords are automatically maintained.

The automatic generation of the catalogue can be done in about half an hour and the whole catalogue can be managed by one single person.
Aswo is proficient enough in the use of the package to make assortment changes and page regeneration from scratch only a few moments before transmission to the printer.
